Yezin Shamoon, MD, is an interventional cardiologist who earned his medical degree, graduating cum laude, from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada. Dr. Shamoon completed his internal medicine residency, cardiovascular disease fellowship, and interventional cardiology fellowship at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey, where he served as Chief Fellow during both his cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology fellowships.
Dr. Shamoon’s clinical interests include coronary artery disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, valvular heart disease, heart rhythm disorders, peripheral vascular disease, cardiovascular care during pregnancy, hypertension, cholesterol and lipid disorders, and cardiometabolic health. He has advanced training in both general and interventional cardiology, with a focus on providing comprehensive cardiovascular care using contemporary diagnostic, interventional, and treatment strategies.
