Sanjay Rau, DO, is a gastroenterologist/hepatologist who received his medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, ME and served as Chief Resident at Jefferson Health Northeast in Philadelphia, PA. He was also recognized as Internal Medicine Resident of the Year in 2023. Dr. Rau completed his gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at the University of Massachusetts in Worcester, MA, serving as Chief Fellow. He has been involved in multiple research projects in gastroenterology and was chosen to review other proposals and manuscripts for inclusion in the ASGE journal Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
