Dr. Goel is a hematologist-oncologist and hospice and palliative medicine specialist. Her clinical interests include cancers of the breast, colon, lung, and neuroendocrine system; blood cancers, including leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma; and palliative and end-of-life care. Dr. Goel received her MD from the University of Queensland Medical School–Ochsner Clinical School (UQ-Ochsner). She did an internal medicine residency at Ochsner Clinical Foundation, a hospice and palliative medicine fellowship at Eastern Virginia Medical School, and a hematology and oncology fellowship at Louisiana State University–University Medical Center, Tulane University Hospital, and New Orleans Veterans Affairs Medical Center. She is a member of the American College of Physicians.
